Objective: To assess the relative competitive position of Turkey among European Union member states and periphery countries with respect to exports in different industry sectors.
Scope: To store total trade data of selective countries according to SITC2 classification, to transfer these data into the manufacturing sectors base (ISIC2) and to assess the competitiveness of Turkey in exports using various indices.
Project Team: Alpay Filiztekin.
Current Status: The project has been started on June 21, 2004. The study for the periphery countries of Turkey has been completed and put on the web site for interactive usage. The study to include European Union member states is still in progress.
