Graduated as an engineer, then followed business management programs at Istanbul University, followed by finance seminars attended at New York University School of Continuing Education. Joined to European Society for Science and Technology MA Program at Istanbul Technical University and Linkoping University, Sweden.
In regard to his business career, started working at Yapı Kredi, a privately held financial institution for nearly 15 years at corporate banking and general secretariat sections. Final duty he served was Vice Presidency at the CEO Office. Meanwhile, during his career at finance industry, he contributed to the process of report preparation for an EU funded Business Development Centers project as an SME expert.
Participated to the team at Sabanci University Competitiveness Forum since September 2005, and has been assigned to coordinate National Innovation Initiative Project, is responsible for projects implemented by the Forum as Assistant Director as well. Interested in research in the fields of innovation, SMEs, industrial dynamics and renewable energy sources.
